I am not happy about the thought of AJ and Kirsten leaving the show (or the show to end at all) but there are some things to consider.
1. they won’t kill any of the main cast characters during the finale. when those last episodes were shot (we’re not even talking about written) they were still negotiating. They are not killing a character and on the other hand negotiate about money at the same time. It’s gonna be Strauss, Kevin, Beth, Will - a regular but not a maincast member.
2. Would you want to work for a much lower amount of money than anybody else who’s doing the same load of work? No you wouldn’t.
I am only talking for myself when I am saying that I wish that they would’ve ended the show with the brilliant season 7 finale. For me season 8 felt like a huge struggle from the beginning. A little bit like House season 8. *sigh*
